2010: The Year of...

Who knows!?! 2010 hasn't held much excitment thus far, but we all know how things change...and how quickly they change! January flew by despite being trapped by the massive amounts of snow that keep accumlating. Now, it's the middle of February and I'm hoping spring is right around the corner!

I keep busy staying home with Grace and watching another little girl, Abby, who just turned 3. I also watch my nephew and other random kids from time to time. Currently Seth is sacrificing himself as a jungle gym to 3 toddlers so I can blog :) I have been pretty antsy lately to get out of the house and have an adult social life. I think I'm more of a part time job person! :)

Seth keeps busy with Lorntson Construction. The past few months have been a little slower, but he has some big spring projects lined up, so that is good. He loves his job and the challenges it brings!

Ever since I've known Seth he's talked about his dream of building a house for himself/family. Over the past several months we have started researching and planning to make that dream come true. We have spent the past month frantically finishing projects around the house. Replacing doors, trim, bathroom sinks and floors, sorting, cleaning and organizing to get our house ready to sell. We plan to put it up for sale in early March. We aren't sure where we'll live between selling and building...but God has a tendancy to provide so we're stepping out in faith and hoping someone catches us :) We are both really excited about the new adventure and I have NEVER seen Seth talk so much so passionately about anything, as he has about the new house. We have the blue prints drawn up and have picked out most of the stuff for it. Now it's just a matter of money and time. We are really excited to have a designated eating area, as our current home only has stools at a counter. It's also a lot of fun to build a house around things we like, etc. Lots of closets for organization and wide open spaces for entertaining!

Welp, I suppose I better save Seth from the torture of the toddlers! Maybe later I'll figure out how to upload pics...can you handle the excitment???

In the Beginning

In an effort to keep "in touch" with family afar and keep up with my mom's picture addiction (of Grace, that is:) We have decided to join the blogging world! Let the games begin!!!
